He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Garcia and Josefa Garcia (Valdez); his daughter Tonja Shay; and his sister Nina Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Harriett L. Garcia (Kilgore); his children, Troy Garcia (Angie) of Aberdeen, Sonda Rotolo of Shreveport, LA and Valda Rotolo of Aberdeen; his stepsons, Stephen Duff (Jackie) of Perryville, Tony Duff (Sandy) of Bel Air and Richard Duff of Havre de Grace; and his siblings, Jose Garcia of Austin, TX and Nellie Vela of Austin, TX. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Harford Memorial Gardens (3839 Aldino Rd, Aberdeen, MD 21001).
