She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cooper and Annette Cooper; her husband John Paul Cain, Jr.; and her brothers, William Cooper, Jr., Ralph G. Cooper and Eugene W. Cooper.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Patrick Cain (Mary) of Hagerstown, John William Cain (Stefanie) of Aberdeen and Patricia Cain Claycomb of Aberdeen.
