It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Axel Carl Acel of Aberdeen, Maryland, born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Acel; his former wife Linda F. Manoso; his wife Jill Podgurski; his granddaughter Tiffany Thornton; and his sister Nancy Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa McIntyre (Charles) of Virginia Beach, Ronda Bridges (Shane) of Aberdeen, MD and Dr. Timothy Acel of Texas; his grandchildren, John Thornton, Sheila Wright (Mike), Derek Bridges, Savanah McIntyre, Jessica McIntyre and Lydiana Acel; his great grandchildren, Liam, Kaiden and Colton; and his siblings, Mary Parker (Elmer) of Meadville, Ruth Hall (William) of New Galilei, Paula White, Julie Ebert (Mike) and Richard Hipple. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
