We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2023, at the age of 85, Ella May Russell of Abell, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sydney Hammond, Sr. and Ella May Hammond (Dillinger); her siblings, Albert "Buddy" Sydney Hammond, Jr. and Anita Poe; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Hammond and Olga Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Allan Russell, Sr.; her children, Melissa Ann Dicken of Salisbury, MD, Robert Allan Russell, Jr. (Jenny) of Abell, MD and Andrea Maria Alderson (Mike) of Coltons Point, MD; her siblings-in-law, Gloria Hammond of St. Paul, MN and William "Billy" Paul Russell of Leonardtown, MD; and her grandchildren, Sean Russell Alderson, Sophie Elizabeth Russell, Andrew Michael Alderson and Chloe Lynn Russell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
