She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Thomas and Mary M. Thomas (Mae); her husband Francis "Shine" Dickerson (Shine); and her siblings, Wilson Thomas (Rosetta), John Henry, Hilary (Bub), James Richard Thomas (Jim), James Louis Thomas (Wallace), Charles Butler (Ester), Caroline Countiss (Benjamin), Goldina Thomas (Sis), Annie Thomas (Shug) and Dorothy Ann Somerville.
She is survived by: her son Francis Alexandra Dickerson (Elaine); her sisters, Agnes Queen and Rose Anna Shade; her sister-in-law Barbara Ann Thomas; her goddaughter Phyllis Elam; and her close friend Roxanne. She is also survived by seven grandkids, eight great grandkids.
