He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis Cass "Franny Cass" and Bernice Cass (Hogan); and his siblings-in-law, Rosemary Turcotte of Burlington and Frank Carbone (Connie Carbone) of Florida. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Carbone) of Yarmouth Port; his children, Wiliam E Cass Jr. "Billy" (Jeanne), Michael F Cass (Sharon) and Lisa Cass McDonald (Michael McDonald) of Medfield, MA.; his brother Richard Cass; and his brother-in-law Richard Turcotte.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at (https://t2t.org) T2T.org. This donation will honor Bill's love for firefighters like his father.
