He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley W. Ellis and Mary F. Ellis (Holt); and his brother Robert Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Ellis (Sylvia); his sons, Brian F. Ellis (Kelly) of North Kingstown, RI and Greg S. Ellis (Jenni) of St. Petersburg, FL; his grandchildren, Samuel Ellis and Sylvia Ellis; and his stepgranddaughter Gabriela Almeida.
