He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cassella and Philomena DeMartino Cassella; his daughter Theresa Cassella; his sisters, Mary DeRosa and Carmel Solimene; and his great grandchild Jackson Bernard.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Bernard (Edward), Carlene Fletcher (Donald), Laureen Dineen (John), Joseph Cassella (Kathy Ferraro) and Charles Cassella; and his brother Andrea Cassella (Sharon). He is also survived by grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
