She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hentschel and Ruth Hentschel (Morse); her husband William E. Backoff, Jr.; her sons, William E. Backoff, III, Paul M. Backoff and Robert D. Backoff; and her sisters, Patricia Cleary and Dorothy Verrochi.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy L. Kiehl (Don) of North Attleborough and Stephen H. Backoff (Karen Gaffney) of Cohasset; her grandchildren, Cindy Cook of Attleboro, Mandy Jenks (David) of Plainville, Jessica Kiehl (Michael Dahlbeck) of Attleboro, Jeffrey Kiehl (Amanda) of Attleboro, Scott Backoff (Jessie) of Bow and Sara Lind (Eric) of Concord; and her great grandchildren, Shaya, Aryelle, Logan, Jason, Joslyn, William, Amelia, Karen and Mikey.
