She was predeceased by: her parent Frederick Dewey; her spouse John Parkinson; and her siblings, Doris Sanctuary, Arlene "Honey" Granger, Fredrick Dewey and David Dewey.

She is survived by: her parent May Dewey (Wenzel); her children, Gary Parkinson of Westhampton, Todd Parkinson (Tamara) of Worthington, Darlene Fleming (Edward) of Greenfield and Susan Parkinson of Worthington; her niece Dianne Mercier (Walter); her nephew Leon Parkinson of Florida; and also Leon Parkinson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
