She was predeceased by: her parents, Zigmund Zaleski and Margaret Zaleski (Wood); and her husband Henry A. Payson Jr.. She is survived by: her family South; her children, Thomas Payson, Paul Payson (Sue), Eric Payson of Dalton and Jennifer Payson-Taylor of Peru; her grandchildren, Cody Payson, Connor Payson, Samantha Payson of Chesterfield, Dalton Payson-Peck, Jordon Payson-Peck, Makenzi Taylor and Garret Jon Taylor of Peru; her pet Koda; her sister Sally Delphia of Pittsfield; her children-in-law, Melissa Payson of Chesterfield and Eric Taylor of Pittsfield; and her grandchildren, Brady and Sidney Payson of Dalton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
