He is survived by: his children, Joseph Garbiel of Belchertown, Jeannine Bourdeau (Christian) of Belchertown, Phillip Leab (Jaime) of Shutesbury, Monique Desroches (Aaron) of Belchertown, Garrett Leab of Ludlow and Gavin Leab of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Olivia, Emma and Payton; his father William H. Leab Sr. of Belchertown; and his sisters, Barbara Cote (Bernard) of Deland, FL, Christine Ellithorpe (Mark) of Bondsville and Jennifer Laisure (William) of Monson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
