With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilfred Richard Granger of Worcester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 102. As Wilfred Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wilfred Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wilfred Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Wilfred C. Granger and Annette Granger (Lamoureux). He is survived by: his cousin Beverly Nelson of Phillipston; his caregiver Joan Noonan of Auburn; and also, Laureen, Jacalyn Gearin of Spencer, Timothy Gearin (Jackie) of Phillipston and Marc Gearin (Masako) of Boston.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home (91 Central St, Auburn, MA 01501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the North American Martyrs Church (8 Wyoma Dr, Auburn, MA 01501).
