We bid farewell to Teresa (Barbato) Cacciate of Worcester, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 4, 2025 at the age of 101. Teresa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Barbato and Annunziata Barbato (Liccardi); and her siblings, Sebastiano, Gaetano "Guy", Stefano "Steve" Barbato, Mafalda Soter, Anna Lanotte, Italia DiGennaro, Orsula Cercielo, Maria Sacco and Grazia "Grace" Sodano.
She is survived by: her nephew Armando Sodano (Christina); and also Sophia Hayeck. She is also survived by family whom she thought of as her children.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Loreto Church (37 Massasoit Rd, Worcester, MA 01604).
In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to Our Lady of Mt Carmel/Loreto, 37 Massasoit Road 01604.
