He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Kioko (Munanie); his children, Mary Mumbua, James Ndambo, Elizabeth Koki and John Kioko; and his siblings, Ruth Wanza, Catherine Wayua, Benjamin Mwanzia, Charles Kitheka, Jenipher Koki and Alice Nzilani. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
