It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Oliveras (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jamie; her son Emanuel A. Oliveras (Jessica) of Worcester; her grandson Joseph A. Oliveras; her sisters, Miriam Avila of Puerto Rico, Olga Cortes of Worcester, Nilda Avila of Worcester, Aida Medina of Worcester, Sandra Madera of Worcester and Lisa Rosario of Worcester; and her parents, Arcadio Avila and Victoria Gonzalez (Cortes). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callahan (61 Myrtle St, Worcester, MA 01608). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Callahan Fay and Caswell Funeral Home (61 Myrtle St, Worcester, MA 01608). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Notre Dame Cemetery (162 Webster St, Worcester, MA 01603).
