He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Rivera of Worcester, Hailyn Rivera of Leominster, Nadja Rivera of Puerto Rico and Rubén Rivera of Wesley Chapel, FL; his brothers, Andrés Rivera of Florida, Efraín Rivera of Puerto Rico and Jaime Rivera of Puerto Rico; his children-in-law, Josue Pantojas and Gladys N. Ledee; and his aunt Antonia Diaz. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
