He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Deal and Mary Deal; his sisters, Theola, Naomi and Eleanor; his wife Joan of Boylston, Massachusetts; his children, Jody Getz, Cathy Segraves, Karen Bach, Daniel Deal, David Deal, Michael Deal and Stephen Deal; his stepson Howard Rappaport; and his brother John Deal. He was also cherished by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
