He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leroy McGee and Lillie Rose McGee (Harrell); his siblings, Raleigh, Otha, Rubin, Allen, Eunice, Virginia, Margaret and Annie; his friend Hester Sarah Miller; his children, Robert Lawrence "Bobby" McGee, Jr. and Sonya Leigh McGee; and his friend Miss Phoenix Anne Messer. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews.
