He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edna, Dorothy, Rita, John and Richard; and his parents, Thomas L. Butler and Henrietta M. Butler (Theroux).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie A. Butler (D'Ambra); his sons, Robert A. Butler (Linda J.) of Upton and David P. Butler (Robin K.) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Rebecca L. Butler of Watertown, Megan R. Butler of Watertown, Ashley Butler Alvarez (Jason) of Medford and Alexandra J. Minard (Darwin) of Los Angeles, CA; and his great grandchild Lucas B. Alvarez.
