She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Giles, Sr.; her sons, Joshua, Mossy and Otis Giles Jr.; her siblings, Willy, Shirley, Lester, Nate, Virginia, Etta and Agnes; and her parents, Ivy Patterson and Mary Patterson (Spaulding).
She is survived by: her children, Greg Giles of Ware, James Giles of Worcester, Shelia Boykin of Worcester, Emma Nelson of Worcester and Tracy Edmonds of Worcester; her siblings, Cullen Patterson, Lucille and Francine; and her cousin Lois Edmonds. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
