He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Mazile Saphyr; his son Kadhafi Saphyr; and his mother Rezine Saphyr. He is also survived by three children, seven grandchildren, two sisters and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (35 Hamilton St, Worcester, MA 01604). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the St. John's Cemetery (260 Cambridge St, Worcester, MA 01603).
