Olimpia Williams Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olimpia Williams of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Matthew Phillips; and her siblings, Victor Salerno, Anthony Salerno, Guido Salerno, Ann Verdini, Mary Chionna, Rose Bushe and Virginia Marshall.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Pierangeli (Joseph), Mark Phillips (Lisa) and Christine Phillips; her daughter-in-law Gail Phillips; and her sister Rita (Joseph Nardella) of Cape Cod. She is also survived by her grandchildren, one great grandchild, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Activities fund, care of Christopher Heights Assisted living, 20 Mary Scano Dr. Worcester.
