He was predeceased by: his parent Worcester. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Maria Matias; his mother Carmen Rosa Vazquez; and his siblings, William Cruz, Jose Cruz, Javier Cruz, Ariel Colon, Miriam Cruz, Nancy Cruz, Marisol Cruz and Jesenia Rivera. He is also survived by three daughters.

Donations in his memory may be donated to the Odd Fellows Home of Massachusetts, 104.
