She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosier Adams and Gertrude Dickerson (Mathis); her husband Henry Lee Burrell; her children, Maryann Greer (Burrell), Deloris Wheeler (Burrell), Gloria Dean King (Burrell) and Luther Lee Burrell; her stepson Henry Appleberry; her grandson Eddie James Wheeler; her great grandchild Jayden Hargrove; and her siblings, James, Felix Adams Sr., Janice Fernandes, Ora Lee Stevenson (Williams) and Martha Adams.
She is survived by: her stepmother Addie Lee Adams (McKinney); her children, L. V. (Sonja), Ezell (Sherri Hampton), Sammie, Carla, Henrean (Bernard Mungai), Louise, Doris (Steven Hyman), Rebecca, Rose Gaines (Dirus) and Ethel Mayo (Stephen); her siblings, Hosea, Roosevelt (Gloria), Woodrow Adams (Lorraine), Eula Mae Carter and Ola Mae Evans; and her nieces, Debbie Stevenson and Beatrice Smith. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren.
