She was predeceased by: her parents, Eveleth Lowder and Hazel Lowder (Palmer); and her husband Francis Sturgis. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Sturgis of Naples and Michael P. Sturgis of Southold; and her grandsons, Michael F. Sturgis of Buffalo, Sam Sturgis (Marilyn) of Washington, D. C and Saint.
