He is survived by: his parents, Kay McDonald of Inman, SC and John Richard Cahalane of Salem, NH; his brothers, Matthew Cahalane (Caroline) of Dallas, TX, Peter Cahalane (Rebecca) of Boulder, CO and Dean Cahalane of Hampstead, NH; and his grandmother Inez Joan McDonald of St. Augustine, FL. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marcus's memory may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue league, who have been excellent in helping Marcus's family find his dog Benny, who had wandered off while Marcus was in the hospital .
