She was predeceased by: her husband Russell C. Garcia, Sr.; her siblings, Joseph, Benjamin and Rosemarie; and her parents, Patsy Valerio and Josephine Valerio (Abatantuono).
She is survived by: her children, Russel C. Garcia, Jr. (Donna) of Worcester, Richard J. Garcia (Carol) of Worcester and Patricia A. LaChance of South Yarmouth; her sisters, Laura Portosa of Worcester and Gloria Bisceglia of Worcester; her grandchildren, Kara Hendrickx, Patrick Lachance, Dustin Garcia, Matthew Garcia and Jessica Garcia; and her great grandchildren, Connor, William, Hannah Lachance, Finn and Rory Hendrickx. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home (592 Park Ave, Worcester, MA 01603). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of New England, 175 Cabot Street, Suite 301, Lowell, Massachusetts 01854.
