He was predeceased by: his siblings, Izidor Gawedzki, Irena Roginska and Krystyna Omielan; and his parents, Piotr Gawedzki and Wanda Gawedzki.
He is survived by: his significant other Krystyna Kania; his significant other's children, Barbara Bodus (Slawomir), Diane McCorison, Krzysztof Kania (Patti) and John Kania (Denise); and his brother Ireneusz Gawedzki (Anna). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dirsa Funeral Home (33 Ward St, Worcester, MA 01610). A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (34 Ward St, Worcester, MA 01610).
