She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Doyle and Ruth Doyle (Flemming); her husband Dr. Edward W. Hughes; and her sister Ruth Anne Tompkins (Doyle). She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Sarah Hughes; her granddaughter Emily Hughes of Worcester, MA; her son Colin Hughes; her grandson Zachary Hughes of Windsor, CT; her stepchildren, Catherine Murphy of Exeter, NH, Steven Hughes of Belchertown, MA and Tracy Gens of Simsbury, CT.; and her caregivers, Patience Ntim, Gabriel, Denise Lake, Amy Lyons and Dianna Banda.
