It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen A. Blanchard of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers-in-law, James McDonald and David Gelineau; and her parents, Francis R. Bird and Natalie J. Bird (Ciuffredo). She is survived by: her husband Emile H. Blanchard; her daughters, Nicole Eldridge (Samuel) of Framingham and Natalie Smith (Kaleb) of Shrewsbury; her siblings, Francis "Skip" Bird (Michele) of Lakeville, Richard Bird (Kristine) of Oxford and Debra McDonald (Tina Gelineau); and her grandchildren, Logan, Owen, Sydney, Lucas and Hunter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 9:40 AM to 10:00 AM at the Departing the Funeral Home. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Stephen's Church (357 Grafton St, Worcester, MA 01604).
