We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2024, Karen H. Barsum of Worcester, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Karen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Karen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jack Barsum; her son Daniel E. Barsum (Emily) of South Grafton; her granddaughter Evelyn; her cousins, Elaine M. Terlizzi and Robert Bovick (Colleen); her goddaughter Cheryl Stevens; and her parents, Ernest O. Girard and Annette M. Girard (Bovick).

A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Church (1222 Main St, Worcester, MA 01603).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady the Angels Church.
