He was predeceased by: his son Robert Kaprielian; and his sister Elizabeth K. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Kaprielian (Bedrossian); his sons, Stephen R. Kaprielian (Ann) of West Yarmouth and Chris A. Kaprielian (Kelly) of Ashland; his granddaughters, Dr. Danielle M. Kaprielian and Joanne M. Kaprielian; and his brother-in-law William Johnson of Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kap's church, a place he so loved.
