It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Rivers (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 21, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luigi Groccia and Lucia Groccia (Bonofiglio). She is survived by: her children, Susan Lier (Stephen) of Auburn, Maria Solitro (Pasquale), Michael Rivers (Kathy) of Worcester and Ronald Rivers (Stephanie) of Southbridge; her sisters, Nancy Algieri of Worcester, Santa "Sandy" Bottis of Worcester and Frances Rand of New Bedford; and her great grandchild Olivia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
