He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl J. Sherer, Sr. and Antoinette M. Sherer (Fasano); and his siblings, Earl J. Sherer, Jr., Paul R. Sherer and Mary Ann Serra.

He is survived by: his siblings, Carl Sherer and Rose Marie Sherer of Shrewsbury; his niece Melissa of Worcester; and his nephew Steven Serra of Worcester.
