In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Nicholas Sakellarides and Nina Karamboulas-Sakellaridou (Ilias) of Worcester; his nieces, Kalliopi and Evangelia Karamboulas; his great-nephew Elias Garcia; his cousin Nicholas Stefos; and his parents, Father Emmanuel Sakellarides and Presbytera Kalliopi Sakellarides (Katogiritis).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home (592 Park Ave, Worcester, MA 01603). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral (102 Russell St, Worcester, MA 01609).
