He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen M. Carney (Stubbert); his brother Howard Carney; his daughter Theresa Carney; and his parents, Howard Carney and Theresa Carney (Ford).
He is survived by: his children, Michael P. Carney (Roseann), Colleen M. Carney, Kerriann M. Carney, John P. Carney and Christine M. Carney; his grandchildren, Riley Ann Lapierre, Ryan P. Carney, Michaela C. Carney, Sierra A. Bourke, Aidan M. Carney and Emmett M. Lapierre; and his friends, James McNamara and Patricia Willar. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
