We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2020, at the age of 76, John Erik Soderman (Worcester, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his sisters, Saida Blomqvist, Boden, Elsie Johannson and Sundsvall; and his nieces and nephews, Tommy Johansson, Sundsvall, Johan Blomqvist and Piteå.

The foundation of their 43-year marriage was a shared love of Scandinavian history, literature and culture; world and U.S. politics; entertaining; gardening; dogs; and desserts of any kind including Prinsesstårta, a Swedish Princess Cake.
