He was predeceased by: his sister Carrie Johnson; his nephew Eric Johnson; and his niece Moneka Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Bailey (Givins); his children, James D. Payton of West Virginia, Jermaine Payton (Jennifer) of West Virginia, Lamar Tetteyfio of Worcester, Regina of Worcester and Charisa White of Worcester; and his siblings, Preston Spurill, Terry Bowser, Martin Anfield, Ethel Bailey, Darlene Harris and Lucinda Griffon. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
