He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Esther Fitzgerald (Duquette). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Martin (Hughes); and his sons, David (Linda), James (Robin), William, Robert and Albert Surette. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
