She was predeceased by: her son René Casillas; and her parents, Santiago Ortiz and Elizabeth Ramos. She is survived by: her husband Douglas W. Blom; her children, Jerry Casillas of Worcester and Arlin Casillas (Gilberto Victoriano) of Worcester; her siblings, Santiago Ortiz of Worcester, Giovani Pedroza (Maria) of Worcester, Benito Escobar of Worcester and Yaimari Massa (Angel); her grandchildren, Adelis, Anthony, Nasheily, Helen, René, Reniel, Arielis, Adriana, Myah and Arian; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Elyzon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rice Funeral Home (300 Park Ave, Worcester, MA 01609). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Notre Dame Cemetery (162 Webster St, Worcester, MA 01603).
