She was predeceased by: her husband Safet Gjata; and her daughter Mimoza Baliko. She is survived by: her children, Pellumb Gjata (Majlinda) of Worcester and Merita (Alfred); her sisters, Lumturie Ajazi, Dallendyshe Bilali and Hajdine Lico; her grandchildren, Klajdi Gjata (Elza), Redina Gjata, Orela Gjata, Evisa Baliko, Ledion Baliko, Sabina Xhafi and Kamila Xhafi; and her great grandchildren, Aria, Ryder, Alexander, Adriel, Giorgia and Daniel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520).
