It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Schofield (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gloria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Casillo and Amelia Casillo (Romano); and her children, Brian Schofield and Gloria Latino. She is survived by: her husband Alden Schofield; and her daughter Karen Spitaels (Michael) of West Newton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callahan Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home (61 Myrtle St, Worcester, MA 01608). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (1052 Pleasant St, Worcester, MA 01602). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the St. John's Cemetery (260 Cambridge St, Worcester, MA 01603).
