She was predeceased by : her father James Rust; and her brother James. She is survived by : her mother Muriel Rust; her husband Stephen; her children, Alexandra, Victoria, Calum and Sophia; her sons-in-law, Armand and Mitchell; and her grandson William. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Unitarian Church of Worcester (90 Main St, Worcester, MA 01608). Even during the pandemic lock downs, Gill found a way to share food with others, posting a daily recipe online for others to enjoy. Friday pizza night at Gill and Steve's was a years-long tradition, with the door open for friends and neighbors who wanted to stop in for a homemade slice.
