She is survived by: her children, Luis Velez (Alcia) of Worcester, Rafael Velez of Tennessee, Wilfredo Velez (Raysa) of Worcester, Teresa Velez of Miami, Carmen H. Velez of Worcester, Ana Negron (Angel) of Worcester, Daisy Velez (Luis) of Worcester, Beatriz Bell of Worcester and Marisol Prunier (John) of Spencer; her siblings, Angel Colon (Nelida) of Puerto Rico, Rafael Colon (Nilda) of Puerto Rico and Maria Colon (Efrain) of Puerto Rico; and her siblings-in-law, Marina and Amelio. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home (61 Myrtle St, Worcester, MA 01608). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (162 Webster St, Worcester, MA 01603).
