She was predeceased by: her daughter Judith Tatem; and her brother Merlin Howard. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" P. Harwood; her son William "Bill" Harwood (Carol) of Charlton; her son-in-law Richard Tatem of Manchester, CT; her sister-in-law Virginia Howard of West Boylston; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Cameron and Matthew. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
