He was predeceased by: his daughter Engelsa Kalaitzis (Lubonja); and his siblings, Koço Lubonja and Kleri Koblara (Lubonja). He is survived by: his wife Liri Lubonja (Vitollari); his daughter Erisa Lubonja (Naumaq Grabocka) of Worcester; his grandson Stergios Kalaitzis of Auburn; and his sisters, Frida Dhami (Lubonja) and Evelina Nuno (Lubonja) of Albania.
