He is survived by: his wife Nancy Torres of Worcester; his children, Joel Ortiz of North Oxford, Joey Castillo of Texas, Ahmed Ortiz of Worcester, Saud Riviera of Worcester, Daisy Castillo of Texas and Areli Castillo Torres of Worcester; and his close friend Jose "Flaco" Alicea. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many nephews and nieces.
