He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charalabos, Leonidas, Anastasia and Olga; and his parents, Sotirios Mitsopoulos and Paraskevi Mitsopoulos (Goudou).
He is survived by: his wife Golfo Mitsopoulos (Papaioannou); his children, Dimitri James of Worcester and Ioanna Mantalvanos (William) of Worcester; his grandchildren, Vasiliki Kourmouzi of Worcester, Kleio Kourmouzi-Tzeremes (Ioannis) of Auburn, Joanna James Moschos, Joanna Moschos (Charles) of Ridgefield, CT and Christos James (Ashley) of Worcester; and his great grandchildren, Elena, Maria, Mariella, Zoe, Ava, Sotiria and Alexander. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
