He was predeceased by: his brother Malcolm Shurtleff. He is survived by: his close friend Jean Gaudiello; his daughter Monique N. Shurtleff (Victor Ferreira) of Acushnet; his grandchildren, Victor Ferreira, Jr. and Bentley Ferreira; and his siblings, William, Vincent and Samantha Long. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
